According to the National Right to Work Committee:

With organized labor looking forward to 2008, Iowa was a major target this year. Their work may pay BIG dividends! They have got the state’s Right to Work law in their gun sights.

Incoming Iowa Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal and incoming House Speaker Pat Murphy want to impose a tax on workers who elect to use their right not to join or financially support a labor union. Imposition of the workers tax will repeal Iowa’s Right to Work law.
