Legislative Alert: AWF Will Rate All Labor Amendment Votes to S. 2123

The Alliance for Worker Freedom (AWF) strongly urges all Senators to oppose S. 2123, the so-called “Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act of 2007” and vote “YES” on all amendments that give power back to the American worker.
• Vallejo, CA just filed bankruptcy because it couldn’t pay the extortionist police and firefighter salaries that comprised 74 percent of the state budget.
• Several states will be forced to shut-down their volunteer fire-fighter programs because of S.2123
• S. 2123 is a direct violation of the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution
• Secretaries Chao, Chertoff and Mukasey are vehemently opposed to this legislation.
The string of amendments that could be offered, ranging from Right to Work, to Paycheck Protection, to private ballot voting for de-certification of unions all give power and rights back to the worker that S. 2123 wants to take away and hand directly over to Big Labor.
