Nader on MSNBC: Minimum Wage Should be $10/Hr.
According to the Hartford Courant:
Connecticut native Ralph Nader, who lost in Tuesday's presidential election, said that President-elect Barack Obama has plenty of difficult tasks ahead of him and the American people must be cautious "that we don't get too euphoric'' over Obama's victory.
Nader charged that Obama "raised more money from corporate interests, Wall Street interests'' than Republican John McCain, and he reiterated his often-repeated mantra that America is being ruled by too much corporate power.
Nader, who maintains his voting address in Winsted, repeated his position that the minimum wage should be $10 per hour - which would be a sharp jump from the current rate.
