According to the RIFuture.org:

When I hear that the Projo isn't anti-labor I just laugh,,,,

Is a higher minimum wage BAD for workers?    Yes, according to the Alliance for Worker Freedom, the organization cited in the center of Projo stories about Rhode Island labor laws. And their director? The true front group operative….

Johnson’s previous employment includes working as the 2004 Bush/Cheney North Carolina grassroots campaign manager and as a contributor to the John Locke Foundation.

Brian M Johnson is a Federal Affairs Manager at Americans for Tax Reform.

ATR is the anti-tax group funded and run by Grover Norquist, the man who convinced the country it would be great for the US economy to give the rich the 2003 Bush tax cuts.  And with friends like the Heritage Foundation and the Association of Builders and Contractors, no WONDER this group has a world view ala 1885.

This is what AWF says about collective bargaining.

AWF opposes collective bargaining rights because it violates the employer’s right to establish their employees’ wages.  Rather employers are forced set employees’ wages at labor union standards.  Collective bargaining also leaves the employer susceptible to strikes or the threat thereof.  It also gives immense power to the employees who belong to unions, thereby stripping those non-unionized employees of any power they had and infringing upon their freedoms.
