Recently, Brian M Johnson, policy director of AWF, and Ryan Ellis, tax policy director at Americans for Tax Reform, teamed up to analyze and critique the current trend of giving unions large sums of money to manage for their members pension. These funds, known as VEBAs, are easily becoming the new, 21st century union slush fund.
